About the speaker
Lynn Green has been involved with YWAM since the 1970s and is the National Director for UK and leads the work at Highfield Oval outside London.
 

Lynn Green is a small-town boy from Colorado who ended up living more than 40 years in and around London, England.

​

Lynn is married to Marti DeFebbo, former secretary to YWAM founders Loren and Darlene Cunningham. Before they had a whole host of children and grandchildren, so that the immediate family now consists of 20 people. They all live within a one-mile radius of each other in northern outskirts of London.

Their lives are thoroughly international, but are also anchored around the family
home which is part of a missionary training community, a University of the
Nations campus. They have found lasting friendships with people who
inspire them in the larger global family of Youth With A Mission.

Leadership roles in YWAM and other public missions have taken Lynn to more
than 110 countries. Some of his adventures include being part of the
founding team of the ‘March For Jesus’ and he initiated and led the
‘Reconciliation Walk’, which gave more than 2,500 people the opportunity to walk parts of the route of the First Crusade and apologise for atrocities done in the the name of Jesus.

Lynn Green has taught YWAM in many nations and is a regular one of the speakers at YWAM leadership schools around the world. Lynn will touch on several of the teaching areas normally found in a DTS (discipleship training school) but also other areas, drawing on her experience of more than 40 years in full-time service for the Lord.
